"Improving the quality of life of families and individuals in need of a hand up"
The smartest investments in life are made in children. Our efforts focus on the specific needs of children in low to middle class families, with the hope of seeing every child in Montana thrive. We partner with community leaders, care providers, and donors to work toward this goal.
No long delays or complex strategies. We provide fast, direct help to people in need.
Areas of Assistance
Women and Children Shelters
In any society the most vulnerable tend to be children and homeless. We work to adequately equip shelters that demonstrate need. We make site visits to evaluate the situation for ourselves and see what immediate and long term solutions are needed. We provide for basic supplies, such as food, bedding, clothing, and medicine.
Education for Children
We provide assistance to schools so children may attend school or participate in educational opportunities. We provide basic school supplies. We also help with material support to schools such as tables, chairs, and chalkboards. We also provide educational opportunities for educators (teachers and administrators) to attend seminars and continuing education programs that can aid them in developing their own programs that they can use in their local school districts.
People with Disabilities
We provide equipment such as wheelchairs and hearing devices to assist people with disabilities.
Single Parents
We work to educate, equip and empower single parents with resources, practical assistance, emotional encouragement and social networking to better their lives, and those of their children.
Prevention of Human Trafficking
We also work with various organizations who are trained in areas of prevention of human trafficking. A key part in prevention is teaching vulnerable young people, primarily girls, ways of avoiding the traps of predators who would harm them. We fund life skills training to empower young people to have definite choices in life that will also enable them to be self-sufficient and less likely to become victims due to economic desperation.
We also provide support to individuals and organizations that are involved in the rescuing aspect of this problem, to help victims who are rescued to heal and start a new life.
Disaster Relief
People who have lost their homes due to a disaster face greater exposure to the elements and the threat of sickness and disease. We will work to be prepared with supplies so we can quickly respond to a crisis when disaster strikes, if we are in a position to assist, we will deploy a team to meet the basic needs of the victims.
